Meal prep Monday's are the best.
This is when you set yourself up this is when you set yourself up for a full week of meals to keep from making a pit stop at the drive through when you feel like eating!!!
I am still perfecting my meal prep, as I am always looking for ways to keep simple, family friendly, quick and yummy!
I can not wait to share some great tips that are sure to get you REAL and fast, long lasting results!
I will also share some recipes with you. Meal prep doesn't have to be plane rice and bland chicken and carrots! How boring would that get real quick!
The color coded containers...
Keep you from measuring, weighing, and counting calories or points.
Each one represents a category of food.

The 21 Day Fix and the 21 Day Fix Extreme each come with their own set of containers, as well as a full meal plan/nutrition guide with recipes. This system makes it completely easy!
Green = Veggies
Purple = Fruit
Red = Protein
Yellow = Carbs
Blue = Healthy Fats
Orange = Seeds& Dressings
Here is a quick sample of my daily meals:
Meal #1 Fruit Smoothie
Pre-cut fruit (I like mine frozen), berries, and Shakeology mixed with water
Meal #2 Scrambled eggs on toast with avocado and 1/2 - 1 purple container of fruit
Meal #3 Seasoned boneless/skinless chicken breast and 1 green container of mixed veggies (I like mine grilled)
Meal #4 Afternoon Snack
1 blue container hummus and 1 serving of crackers, or 1 cheese stick and 1 purple container of grapes,
Meal #5 Dinner
Lemon fish and brown rice with 1 green container of salad and veggies and 1 orange container dressing
So now you're probably wondering how does fitness fit into all of this?
